You are reminded that the past performance of an investment
is not necessarily a guide to its future performance. The
value of, and income from, investments may fall as well as
rise and investors may not get back the amount invested. In
addition, changes in rates of foreign exchange may cause the
value of investments to go up or down. The stock markets and
currencies of emerging markets can be extremely volatile, no
investor should invest unless he or she is prepared to accept
a high degree of risk.
Tax benefits, if any, may vary as a result of individual
circumstances and the levels and bases of and reliefs from
taxation may change. The tax regime of PEPs and ISAs could
change in the future.
